Time Warner Cable soon to launch multi-TV DVR

This is noteworthy!  I still like BeyondTV though...

Time Warner Cable will soon be launching a digital video recorder that can be shared by up to four TV sets, the first device of its kind from a cable company.  They’ve been testing the device for the past several weeks in Minneapolis and officially unveiled it at CES last week.  The DVR connects to one TV with other sets accessing the content from it (we’re not quite sure how, but probably over coax).  Time Warner will first rent the units for $8 a month but it should eventually be available from other cable companies as well.
