<p>And just skipped down to the part about terminal.  I have two macbooks with broken DVD drives and needed to have them install software from my MacBook Pro DVD drive.  So from the MacBooks I just entered the two terminal  commands and rebooted.<br />
defaults write com.apple.NetworkBrowser EnableODiskBrowsing -bool true<br />
defaults write com.apple.NetworkBrowser ODSSupported -bool true</p>

<p>In VMware Fusion (Mac) hold the &#8216;option&#8217; key down before you click on Virtual Machine and you will see &#8216;Power Off&#8217; instead of &#8216;Shutdown Guest&#8217;&#8230;</p>
<p>Comes in handy when you have a Windows box that hangs on the &#8216;Windows is shutting down&#8217; screen.</p>

<p>The short answer is:Set your permalinks in the settings/permalinks page and then wait an hour for the backend to catch up.  Not sure what the wait is for but it worked.</p>
